Cable networks such as FX, TNT, SciFi, ect are finally coming into their own with some of the best original programming on TV.
FX leads the others with wonderful shows such as The Shield, The Riches, Dirt, Rescue Me and many more. These original series are usually shorter than network shows with maybe only 10 or 12 episodes per season.
This is too bad because they are very good show. These shows are winning Emmys and taking on both network and premium TV shows for popularity and loyal viewers.
