Heroes is a wonderful new TV series on NBC. It is about to start its second season on September 25 Mondays at 9 p.m.. The series is written by Tim Kring, who wrote Crossing Jordan.
The cast is very large and the plot covers the globe. Here is a list of those starring in the show. Starring: Santiago Cabrera, Tawny Cypress, Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Leonard Roberts, Milo Ventimiglia
The heroes on the show are just ordinary people who have somehow discovered they have a very special talent. An extra-ordinary talent or ability that no one else has. For example, one person can see into the future and change time. Two brothers can fly, a cheerleader in Texas cannot die no matter what happens to her body…she always rejuvenates. There is a young woman in Las Vegas, who has a dark but very powerful side. A cop in Los Angeles can hear people’s thoughts.
The first season starts out with short scenes involving each of these characters either learning about their new talents are using them in some way. The viewers are quickly drawn into this to the plot, which seems to involve a dark dreaded day in the future, where nuclear bomb explodes in New York City.
There seems to be other is other characters whose motives are unknown and may be trying to stop these heroes from using their powers. There is also a mass murderer who who wants this nuclear disaster to happen.
We would recommend that if you have not seen season one that you get the DVDs and see it before season to start. This will bring you up to speed on the series and it’s well worth the effort to do this. You will enjoy Season two even more if you’v seen Season one first.
In fact, we find that watching TV series on DVDs is in many ways preferable to watching them live on the network airings. And we would further say that the best way to view the DVDs is through subscription to Netflix.
We find that Netflix is far superior to Blockbuster. Netflix has many previous seasons of TV shows on DVD available. It’s a great way to spend a weekend ordering a previous season on DVD and to get caught up through Netflix service. We find that Blockbuster has very few TV series available, so check out Netflix.com
now…it’s well worth the small price.
Viewers of Heroes find it very easy to get involved into the plot and action and to root for these people and to want the evildoers to be stopped. This is a show for all ages, not just kids, and it will hold your attention, you will look forward to each and every episode, we promise you that.
So if you have not seen season one of Heroes we recommend you get it on Netflix and get caught up now. But if you have seen season one, get ready for a new and very exciting season of Heroes starting on NBC network TV. September 25, 2007.
We highly recommend this unique TV show. We wish there were more shows like this on TV. This is what the networks needs unique, creative shows that the whole family can enjoy. Produce more shows like this NBC ABC and CBS, and you’ll have a huge audience and good ratings..
